Overview

Mind Sense is a wellbeing app built around State Compass, breathing practices, Aura conversation, biometric or state-signal features, history, patterns, and recommendations. Mind Sense is not a medical device and does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent disease.

Replace placeholder contact and company details before publishing this policy.

Data we may collect

  • Account data, such as email address, sign-in provider identifiers, profile details, token balance, and purchase status.
  • App activity, such as scans, breathing sessions, settings, feature usage, consent choices, crash logs, diagnostics, and analytics events.
  • User-provided content, such as Aura chat messages, voice input converted to text, support messages, notes, and self-reflection answers.
  • Device and technical data, such as device model, OS version, app version, language, region, notification token, and network diagnostics.
  • Camera-derived or sensor-derived state signals when the user starts a scan and grants permission. These are used for wellbeing self-observation, not diagnosis.
  • Approximate location if the user grants permission for contextual features. Mind Sense should not request precise location unless a future feature clearly requires it and this policy is updated.

Permissions and sensitive features

Camera, microphone, notifications, vibration, analytics identifiers, and approximate location are requested only for app features that need them. The app should show an in-app disclosure and obtain consent before collecting sensitive data.

  • Camera: supports scan and visual state-signal features.
  • Microphone: supports voice interaction, voice input, or audio features when enabled.
  • Notifications: supports reminders, practice prompts, and app updates.
  • Approximate location: supports optional contextual wellbeing prompts.
  • Advertising ID or analytics identifiers: support analytics, measurement, fraud prevention, and app improvement where allowed by user settings and law.

AI and backend processing

Aura conversation and recommendation features may send user-provided text, voice-derived text, state summaries, app context, and relevant history to backend services or AI providers so the app can generate responses. Do not include emergency, medical, or highly sensitive information in AI chat if you do not want it processed for this feature.

AI responses can be incomplete or wrong. They are wellbeing support only and are not professional medical, psychological, legal, or financial advice.

Service providers and sharing

Mind Sense may use service providers for authentication, cloud storage, analytics, crash reporting, notifications, AI processing, in-app purchases, and hosting. These providers process data to operate the app and are not allowed to use it for unrelated purposes under their service terms.

Mind Sense does not sell personal information. Data may be disclosed if required by law, to protect users or the service, or during a business transfer subject to appropriate safeguards.
